Course Overview

The PECB Certified Cyber Threat Analyst (CCTA) training course equips cybersecurity professionals with the knowledge and practical skills required to identify, analyze, investigate, and mitigate cyber threats through structured threat analysis and proactive threat hunting.

As cyberattacks become increasingly sophisticated, organizations need professionals who can recognize emerging threats, investigate suspicious activities, and strengthen their security operations. This five-day training course combines theoretical knowledge with practical threat-hunting exercises, covering cyber threat intelligence, threat modelling, incident response planning, threat-hunting methodologies, security monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Participants will learn how to establish and execute threat-hunting programs, formulate and validate threat hypotheses using data-driven approaches, analyze findings, and produce professional threat-hunting reports. The course also addresses incident management, cybersecurity awareness, performance measurement, and the development of a proactive security culture.

Upon successful completion of the examination and fulfilment of the applicable certification requirements, participants can apply for the PECB Certified Cyber Threat Analyst (CCTA) credential.
