Course Overview
The PECB ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Foundation training course provides participants with the fundamental knowledge and understanding required to implement and manage an Information Security Management System (ISMS) based on ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
This course introduces the essential concepts, principles, requirements, and best practices of information security management. Participants will gain an understanding of the key components of an ISMS, including information security policies, procedures, performance measurement, management commitment, internal audits, management reviews, and continual improvement.

Upon successful completion of the training and examination, participants may apply for the PECB Certificate Holder in ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Foundation credential, demonstrating their understanding of the fundamental methodologies, requirements, framework, and management approach associated with ISO/IEC 27001:2022.

Examination and Certification
The PECB ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Foundation examination is conducted in accordance with the PECB Examination and Certification Program.
Examination Duration: 1 Hour
Competency Domains:
- Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- Domain 2: Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Upon successful completion of the examination, participants may apply for the PECB Certificate Holder in ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Foundation credential, subject to fulfilling the applicable certification requirements, including completing the training course, passing the examination, and signing the PECB Code of Ethics.
