Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Prerequisites: Basic computer literacy; knowledge of architecture or construction is beneficial
Software Required: Autodesk Revit (latest version β Imperial or Metric template based on project/location)
Certification: Certificate of Completion from Thakral Global Learning + Preparation for Autodesk Certified User: Revit (Architecture)
π Course Overview:
This course introduces participants to Building Information Modeling (BIM) using Autodesk Revit, a powerful design and documentation platform used in architectural, structural, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) workflows. Learners will master the tools to create 3D building models, generate intelligent construction documents, collaborate across disciplines, and prepare for industry certification. Both Imperial and Metric templates are available to suit regional standards.
β Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the principles of BIM and how Revit supports them
- Create, edit, and manage parametric building components
- Develop architectural floor plans, elevations, and sections
- Work with families, schedules, and construction documentation
- Apply materials, lighting, and rendering for design visualization
- Collaborate using worksets and linked models
- Prepare confidently for the Autodesk Certified User β Revit exam
